Children's Ministry

We believe that parents are the primary disciplers of their children and thus we aim to support them in this grand adventure.

Sunday Mornings Options

You can sign in your kids to Sunday School (the sign in sheets are at the door for each of the different age groups).  Or you can grab Kids Sermon Notes and coloring supplies if you would like your kids to stay with you through the whole service.  There is also a Parent Room in the back with a change table and a quieter space for anyone who needs it.

Generally we have all the kids stay with us for the first few songs and then dismiss those who are going to Sunday School to follow their leaders to their different age group classes.

  • The Little Ones (0 to Preschool) have space to explore and learn while their parents get a quiet moment to listen to the service.

  • The Primary Sunday School (Kindergarten to grade 2 or 3) is Walking Thru the Bible with actions, crafts, videos, puppets, and big questions.

  • The Intermediate Sunday School (Grade 3+) is learning how to study the Bible, the evidence (for God, the resurrection, the Bible), and how to identify different worldviews with videos, discussion times, teamwork, and games.

Family Church

Once every couple of months we have all the kids join us for the whole service so they can watch, learn, and participate with the whole body of Christ.

Monday Night Bible Hour

  • Join us as we play silly review games (bowling, as throwing), sing together, learn Bible verses, and hear great Bible stories.

  • 6:30-7:30pm every Monday (that there is school) between Oct and May.  Which is the same time that the Women’s and Men’s Bible study meet in the back.

  • It is designed for kids between 5 and 12 years old, but younger and older kids often enjoy the fun as well.

  • There is also a bus that picks up and drops off kids, if that is useful.

Summers

During July and August, the Intermediates (Grade 3+) join the main service.  The Primaries and Little Ones also join one a month, but otherwise have class.
